Do You Know Your Purpose In Life?
Sometimes I think too much. I would over analyze, always thinking of the ?how?, with endless details blocking the way. Do you ever find yourself having these thoughts? I have done just that for many years. This can lead to a form of mental paralysis. Growing as a person stops and makes you fall backwards.
Good news ??This is how I used to be and now I am aware of my thoughts and growing toward becoming static free.
Your purpose doesn?t always have to be a noble occupation or anything tangible. It can be something as a simple as having inner peace and inner joy. This is what I have found out about myself with the assistance of my new friend and personal coach, Dr. Ellie Drake. Sometimes it takes someone that will listen to us, really listen. That is what Ellie has taught me to do simply by listening to me. She also has made me aware that such an activity is very rewarding for everyone involved. I have been trying to ?figure out? my purpose for quite sometime now, but after telling my story to Ellie, within 15 minutes, she knew what my purpose was. She said my subconscious mind knew it but my conscious mind had not caught up yet. Inner peace and inner joy, was what I wanted, but to me it seemed like somewhat of a selfish purpose. Ellie thought of it quite a bit differently than I did.
If I was at peace within myself and joyful, just think how many lives I could touch in a positive, loving, genuine way during my journey here on this earth. This clarity of my purpose has totally changed my life for the better. I am grounded and I am going forward in a much more focused direction. The calmness physically and mentally is so powerful to me. The ?static? that we all experience, those negative thoughts that in turn give us negative emotions. For example; doubt, fear, hate, anger, criticism just to name a few can be kept at bay by just being aware. Make it a goal to your self to be aware of growing towards being static free. When you realize that you are thinking negative thoughts, simply say to your self; is feeling this frustration going to delay my purpose? The answer will be yes, very much so. No matter what the emotion. You will probably feel uncomfortable at first but remember you are open to growth when you are feeling stretched. Think of it as a good feeling and welcome it. That is the beginning.
It will take some practice on your part as always, for any difficult task that we set out to do will get easier with practice. Take your little accomplishments that you achieve each day and focus on the positive. Eventually it will become a habit which will then connect your subconscious mind to your conscious mind. At that point it will become quite effortless.
Some advice to my fellow over analyzers, STOP!
There is so much peace and joy to be had by infusing yourself with creativity. Your mind is so very powerful. Let it attract all the positive, static free thoughts that you deserve. Let the details take care of themselves. Your life will be a fuller and richer one for it. Your purpose can be whatever you choose. If you don?t know what that is just yet, take a deep loving breath, relax your shoulders and let your true purpose in life come to you. Fill your heart with joy and peace and enjoy your new life.
